  6. Add to macaroni mixture; mix well
  7. In large bowl, beat egg whites until stiff
  8. Fold into macaroni mixture
  9. Pour into buttered 12-inch quiche dish or 13 x 9-inch baking dish
  10. Place a shallow baking dish with 1 to 2 inches water on lowest rack of 325º F oven
  11. Place quiche on center rack
  12. Bake until set and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour
  13. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting
  14. Garnish as desired
  15. Serve with salsa
