  3. Drain excess fat
  4. Add tomatoes, paste, salt, brown sugar, basil, oregano, parsley and pepper
  5. Simmer 45 minutes
  6. Filling: Cook ground beef, green onion, salt and pepper
  7. Drain and cool
  8. Combine ricotta, mozzarella, egg, parsley and cooled beef
  9. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain
  10. Fill each tube with 1/4 cup filling
  11. Pour 1/3 of the sauce into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; arrange stuffed pasta in a single layer
  12. Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan
  13. Bake covered 30 to 40 minutes
